VIMH Fan Art by Bryan Prindiville!
May 29, 2009
As you may know, I've been drawing webcomic fan art every Friday for the last month or to and tweeting it (and now posting it to the blog on Small Weird Voices). Today it was a nice surprise to find that Voices in my Hand had it's own piece of fan art posted some months back by the talented cartoonist / illustrator Bryan Prindiville. I love the expression of terror on the faces of the graveyard worms!
Thanks for the kind words and the excellent image, Bryan!
Working on a new comic strip
May 21, 2009
For those of you wondering where the hell I've been lately, at least in terms of making new online comics, it's easy. I've been working behind the scenes on a new autobiographical comic strip that will be hosted at SmallWeirdVoices.com. I've also been reacquainting myself with inking using a brush which has produced a few test character designs for the new strip.
If you've been following my progress on Twitter (and seriously, why the hell aren't you?), you'd know that I've also been making weekly fanart images every Friday. Two weeks ago, it was an image for Mad Scott (c'mon, how can you not want to draw Space Bat... it's a bat, it's in space, it's Space Bat!), and last week's was for Cock 'n Bull (you really need to be reading this comic regularly, btw, especially if you like laughing out loud). Basically, I'm fanart-ing for webcartoonists that are following me and I'm following on Twitter... and I'm having a blast too! Who will it be tomorrow?? Follow me and find out!
Celebrity Tombstones: Marilyn Chambers
May 5, 2009 | Stumble today's comic!
Today's comic marks the passing of everybody's favourite Ivory Soap model turned pornstar, Marliyn Chambers. If you like today's comic (or any VIMH comic for that matter) be sure to let your friends know. We can always use a few more corpses in the graveyard!
We're not dead!! A little rigamortis-y, maybe, but not dead!!
May 4, 2009
It's been a while since I last posted a new comic on the site, and for that I apologize. The move from Hamilton to London, which included moving my mom and her cats from Montreal to London (she's now living with my wife and I) has been a little more of an adjustment than I'd like. But fear not, things are getting back on track and I'm going to be posting a new VIMH comic up tomorrow (a graveyard worms one!)
In the meantime, however, you can check out a guest comic strip I did for David Buist's hilarious webcomic, Taking the Bypass. But don't just read my comic, read 'em all, and then add Taking the Bypass to your regular reads. You'll be glad you did!
And if you still need more cartoony goodness, as always, you can check our my other comic strip for some obscenity and lewd behaviour.
Til tomorrow then!
